MORE THAN A DRIVING SCHOOL

Desert Race School has developed a proven curriculum teaching off-road driving skills, safety, race craft, preparation and communications that shortens your learning curve and increases your success. This is a RACE School, not just drive fast school. We will teach you the skills you need to be a successful racer and team owner, along with the driving skills to win

races.

Most classes are scheduled for Las Vegas area (Jean, NV) utilizing parts of the famous Mint 400 race course. Preferred hotel is Southpoint Hotel Casino. Options are Hurricane, UT, Lucerne Valley, CA and Baja - all by special appointment.

Our most popular class, the 2-Day Race Prep provides plenty of seat time, learning driving skills including left foot braking, Friction Circle, trail braking and more. You will be behind the wheel of a UTV with instructor by your side. Class includes instruction on GPS navigation, radio communications, race craft, race safety, pit safety, and more.  

• Lunch, snacks, drinks and dinner Day 1, lunch, snacks and drinks Day 2.
• Day 1 8:00am to 4:45pm.
• Day 2 8:00am to 3:00pm.
• Helmets, race suits and gloves provided (you are welcome to provide your own if you prefer, but helmet must be wired for radio/intercom and plumbed for air)

We can customize corporate events with ride alongs, or ride and drives. Nothing tops Team Building while making dust and smiles. Contact us for details.

Desert Race School supports our clients with advanced schools focusing on speed, endurance and race wins. These courses are conducted in state of the art tube chassis race trucks or your race vehicle, as well as in-car video combined with data logging - not quite F1, but getting there!  We also offer complete race vehicle prep and race / pit support from our facility in Hurricane, UT. for races in NV, CA and Baja.
